Reviewing and Approving Proposals

Reviewing Proposal

To approve a proposal, you must log into the Mobileforce CPQ application. From the CPQ Proposals page, the quotes that require approval has a status of Pending Approval (highlighted in yellow in the graphic below).

Click the applicable View icon in the Actions column to open the proposal, and click the Approvals tab to review the quote.

The Approvals tab is divided into three sections:

Pending Approval Status
Lists the description and approval status for the proposal. This information cannot be edited.
Approval Actions
Specify whether the proposal is to be approved or declined, and provide info for the user who submitted the proposal.
Approval History
A historical list of all approval actions regarding this proposal.

Review the approval information to determine whether the proposal should be approved.

Approve or Decline Proposal

In the comment field, enter the desired information regarding the proposal in the Comment field and click one of the following:

Decline
Decline the proposal and send it back to the user with a status of Declined. User can resubmit the proposal.
Approve
Approve the proposal and send it back to the user with a status of Approved.
Cancel Approval
Cancel a previously approved proposal and sent it back to the user with a status of Declined. User can resubmit the proposal.
