What are the different roles in Mobileforce CPQ
The Mobileforce CPQ application is designed around two primary user roles:
- Admins: Users with an Admin role work with Mobileforce to integrate the CPQ software with your organizations existing CRM. Additionally, they initially set up Price Books, Product Catalogs, and Products, as well as creaing and adapting the Mobileforce Quote, Document, and Email templates to fit the needs of your organization.
- Sellers: Non-admin users are given the role of Sellers. These users create proposals using Mobileforce CPQ after the Admins complete configuration. Sellers can be given access to specific quote templates, product quoting capabilities, etc.
Within the Sellers group, Mobileforce CPQ supports the creation of Approver Groups that consist of users who can approve quotes based on the rules configured by the Admins. For example, requiring approval when specific discounts or specific products are included in a proposal.
